What It Means to be a Member of a Congregational Christian Church
Reverend Dr. Marilyn Danielson
What We Believe
- We believe deeply in God, Jesus Christ, and guiding Spirit of God in prayer and in the triumph of God over all.
- We
accept that all believers are one under God, regardless of their denominational background.
- We live as if Christian character and
conduct matter.
- We believe that reading and studying the Bible fosters inner unity and outer strength.
- We believe that every Christian
person possesses full liberty of conscience in interpreting the Gospel.
- We believe that every sincere conviction that exalts Jesus
Christ is honorable.
- We believe that to be a church member is to give strength and encouragement to others through common worship,
prayer, study and service.
