Women's Ministry
First Congregational Women’s Ministry Committee has begun meeting. We will be reorganizing the whole ministry program and are excited about what 2011 will bring. We discussed many old programs that we would like to bring back, along with many new programs that we would like to implement.
We will have the first Women’s Ministry gathering on April 19, at 7 p.m. This night will be a night of just getting to know each other, fellowship with each other, and experiencing the presence of our Lord. We truly hope to see you there.
There are many ways that you may become involved. We are looking for women who would be interested in leading or assisting with the following programs:
- Prayer Shawl Ministry
- Mother’s Day Victorian Brunch (May 7)
- Spring Luncheon (May 11)
- Fall Soup Luncheon (October 13)
- Women’s Bible Study
- Women’s Prayer Group
If you would be interested in taking part or organizing any of
these programs, you may contact Sue Platte at 647-6939 or the church office.
There will be a ministry letter going out to all women in the coming weeks
with more information on the ministry, along with ways that you may become
involved. Our purpose is to meet the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs
of the women in our church and community. We will be asking for your input
on programs and ministry both in the church and the community.
Please prayerfully consider how you may become a part of the First Congregational Church Women’s Ministry!
